If I have the "Mature audiences" setting switched ON, do I need to do anything if I know I'm getting underage kids on my channel? Am I breaking TOS?

Oh I agree with all the above but why does it rest on the streamer to figure out if they have underage viewers in the “mature content” stream. Like obviously all streamer I know ban kids under 13 from their streams if they say their age- I mean hell even if it’s a new viewer who is “joking” many mods will still ban.

I just know there’s a lot of confusion around TOS and getting banned for being a “mature” stream and having under age viewers. Since twitch will drop the damn ban hammer on anyone for anything these days.

I think we are in agreement but I just wanted to express that it’s weird when a streamers chat becomes like the “safe” servers of club penguin where you couldnt tell anyone your age.

While it makes sense for family friendly content- I’ve seen this done in all sorts of streams “mature” or not. Also many streams that should be 18+ aren’t marked as such.

I don’t know the whole TOS guide needs to be re-written and twitch bans need to be reined in.

Sorry for sounding like I was on the offense I just know I’ve caught off guard for not following streamers “don’t ask don’t tell” age rules and I found it a bit off putting.
