If the MCU was constructed like the DCEU.

You know, I'm a huge fan of MCU and very indifferent to DCEU but this kinda doesn't make sense. (There was a link to this in my DC Discussion Group on FB)

First of all, MCU only started with Iron Man and Cap cos they didn't have Spider-Man, X-Men and F4 with them. Imagine if the entirety of Marvel was under Fox like DC is under WB. The entire thing would be different.

And I think there's a better way of putting across your point about respect to the characters. The root cause is Snyder wanting to make a work of art that satisfies him as an artist. So he reimagines these characters as a second coming of Christ and you know, the ones who care a lot about comic accuracy didn't like it. (But even if we disregard that, I don't like the execution of what Snyder did, mostly cause it really gets no where. Maybe it would have, if Snyder got to finish has 5 film arc but even then, I believe a film must be self-contained and one can look at Nolan's trilogy where Batman has a character arc spanning 3 films and still has a complete arc within the film itself.)

Also, this topic is done to death. You just reimagined the DCEU with MCU characters. Nothing more.
