If you think minimum wage workers now dont deserve a raise, fuck you!

Even so. If minimum wage goes up, so does the cost of everything we buy on a daily basis. There would be lots of lay offs for the smaller privately owned buisnesses, cause they simply dont make enough money to keep all their workers.

So they'd have to make a choice to lay off workers or jack up their stock prices to an unpurchasable amount the consumers would like. So either way theyre gonna lose either manpower, money, or both. Then that would leave huge capitalist big time buisnesses with enough money to pay their workers, but the higher ups would still jack up their prices on everything just cause they can, and they dont want to lose money going into their own rich pocket.

So to speak we'd be back right where we started except out money would be worth less due to the huge amounts of money going around and being printed, that is also due to the huge spike of income of which everyone is now getting paid. That'd be inflation at its finest lol.

At least thats how i see it. Root of the problem, I believe is just nobody is noticing how messed up costs are on things today. Buisness owners are looking for the biggest bank for their buck without the consumers taking too much notice to how much products original purchase price can damn near double once put on the shelf.
