If modesty is so important, why are slave women allowed to be topless in public according to all 4 schools of thought?

What are you talking about in all 4 Schools of Thought: We see Imam Malik say:

"He (i.e. al-Imam Malik ibn Anas) strongly disapproved of the behaviour of the slave women of al-Madinah in going out uncovered above the lower garment. He said: "I have spoken to the sultan about it, but I have not received a reply." He said: "Beat slave women if they do that.""

"Kitab al-Jami'" of al-Imam Ibn Abi Zayd al-Qayrawani al-Maliki (died 386 AH)

Also why are you posting about sschools of thoughts if you don't believe in hadith or scholarship? Like honestly, it just seems from your posts on Exmuslim is that you just want to argue. Is this suppose to be a check mate? Heck, I remember the time you posted that wife beating thread and completely ignored any response that we posted that went against your narrow view point. So I question why I am even replying if this is all about going after "traditional Islam"....

But even if we look at the posts you link, they all mention that any ATOM of temptation it would be unlawful.
