If my mum is a narcassist, am I one too?

I think the fact that you're willing to question whether you are or aren't is the first step to straightening yourself out if you have any Narcissistic tendencies. I'm detaching from my Narcissistic mother right now, for the millionth time. It's one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life, I just turned 30. Lol. I've been in and out of her house since I was 16 I first left. I always thought I was a wild kid, but I was abused and I was running from it. As I got older, I tried to tell her kindly I need space apart and due to her lack of respect, she was not having it. Became very clingy, almost like a Stage 5 girlfriend would be. over and over. Once she even went as far as an ambulance ride to the hospital so my brothers and I would come to her aid. I had to get extremely real with her recently because our shitty relationship is costing me time, friends, relationships and money going thru her back and forth shit. Good luck man. I just vented. lol
