If the only time you bring up sexual assault against men is when people are talking about sexual assault against women, you don’t actually care about male victims.

If research is being done on the matter you'd expect it to be inclusive of both genders especially if it is presented in a way to claim that one gender has it worse. Also most people who go what about the men actually mean that and not like you spun it as some sort of why do women get the attention. I'm fine with having attention on the victims, but it hurts my head why that can't be all victims and not just the ones based on one sex. So no, my what about the men doesn't mean that I disagree with women getting the attention, my question is actually there because I just don't understand why we can't talk about all victims especially when it is research related. Of course during a talk about the specific nuances women face when it comes to sexual assault I wouldn't have this stance because then gender actually matters but most of the time this isn't the case and victims are left behind for no other reason then their gender and me speaking up during such time definitely does not mean I don't care about female victims or as you suggested victims at all.
