early on I was thinking about how how omicron and delta would trend when both are around.

I thought it would be like sharks, you have hammerheads and tiger sharks it's not like because hammerheads started appearing the tiger sharks went away we just have both.

but then some data is coming out where omicron is actually displacing delta cases so delta is burning out for some reason since people haven't really increased vaccination rates or started using N95s this would have to be something else like omicron providing immunity towards delta.

back to the shark analogy rather than both sharks swimming around, looks like hammerheads are eating everything and starving out the tiger sharks.
