If you’re lucky, at least one component in your system is “perfect.” What’s that one piece that you feel no pressure to ever upgrade?

Speakers. I got lucky early on and found a brand that was a huge upgrade from my current speakers (Boston CR8 and HD9) and generally underpriced relative to performance. ADS. It started with a pair of L710s on Craigslist, and I sold the Bostons shortly after and never looked back. Out of curiosity, I've continued to look for more ADS speakers over the years and at this point I'm up to 5 pairs w/ one pair loaned out to relatives. L710, L630, L400, L10, L500. I had a pair of 880/2s for a bit but the bass sounded muddy compared to the 710s so I sold them. They are all in use in various rooms, so although I am hoarding I can at least say they're being enjoyed almost every day.
