If Reddit was half as verbal about net neutrality as they are about Star Wars Battlefront II, then we could stop ISP's and the FCC

No, we couldn't.

We've been far more vocal in the past about Net Neutrality. The FCC continues to ignore complaints, and our elected officials simply don't give a damn.

Keep on fighting this fight. I will. Just realize that WE DO NOT MATTER. Our voices DO NOT MATTER. This has been decided against the will of the average American citizen. We're essentially powerless against what's happening in our government, which is no longer "for the people, by the people". It's not "for the monopoly, by the lobbyists".

Downvote me for my pessimism. I always am. But realize that this fight has already been decided, and you don't matter. If you mattered, they would have made note of that in 2009 when this first came up (and it comes up multiple times a year).

Start preparing for the fight to restore NN and to find a way to make it concrete and unrepealable. We need Internet to be treated as a basic utility, and to not be managed by monopolistic corporations. Our current government just repealed an act that disallowed monopolization of media outlets within regions. I don't care whether you're republican or democrat: fuck that. Fuck all of that. Our government is against you. It wants to limit your abilities, and your influence. This extends to what will happen in NN in devastating ways.

Stay vigilant even though we've lost this battle. Donate to the EFF. Tell your friends. Tell your family. They may not understand until it's too late, but at least you can be the person who told them.
