If religion is truly free here....

You realise that the government has the responsibility to protect it’s citizens right? And weed is not the better than alcohol substance some politicians seem to vaunt it as. https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/cannabis-the-facts/ The National Health Service states that it can cause panic attack, hallucinations and psychotic illness like Schizophrenia as well as lung disease like bronchitis as well as infertility, among other things. You also shouldn’t drive under it’s influence, there’s nothing to suggest it’s better than alcohol. And drug cartels don’t just sell weed, they also sell meth and heroin, and profit from the death and suffering of hundreds of thousands if not millions of Mexicans, Americans and Central Americans. They use these funds to paralyse the Mexican state, defile it’s democracy, assassinate it’s politicians to install its’ puppets, keep the Mexican people in horrifying conditions and fund all sorts of crime and vice. They also try to spread this horror abroad.

Governments banned those plants when governments took it within their purview to protect their citizens, unlike previous ages in which kings and Khans fought endless wars with no regard for the constant and ever present outbreaks of famine and disease. I’ll ask you this; how many people have died throughout the millennia because the government wouldn’t take action? Because of the Lassize Faire ordinary people suffered under horrific working conditions, no medical care and provision, for them and their children for decades.

Pretending the drug problem can be magicked away be legality won’t help you solve other problems. We will never eradicate crime. Doesn’t mean we should stop trying.
