If "retirement" in the future means you donate your body and organs at age 40 but will be kept alive artificially in a perfectly simulated environment where you live worry-free, would you do it? Why or why not?

Why is the future bleak? My guess is the location you happen to live in sucks. And you spend to much time staring at your phone or MSM. Life is fucking fine and currently supporting 8 billion people in decent circumstances compared to 5000 years ago. We just get too easily depressed about society but compared to what it was only 100 years ago, it is fucking awesome!! We just spend too much time wishing it was better because we see how every single person lives through social media and the MSM. Imagine a life where you HAVE to hunt for food. Where you will die of any infection or disease. Where you don't have any protections from your government. We are really really early into the age of enlightenment. We are only like 5 generations away from when you busted your fucking ass for work, or you died. We now have the luxury of wasting time on an app like Reddit, perusing dumb shit while we procrastinate doing dishes or cleaning up our apartment. We want way more now than we deserve as humans. We should be still in a hunter gatherer society. We have effectively built a society that can do nothing, but still survive. You may live a shitty life, but it will be way better than it was 500 years ago
