Thank you. I just had a date cancelled bc the guy had spent the day partying on a boat and he was too tired after. It would’ve been my first date in a year and a half. And I was so excited and spent half the day prepping. Fretting over my outfit and hair, tweezing eyebrows, saving calories in my counter for drinks and dinner, etc. And then he cancelled, with no suggested date/time to sub. Mild apologies. Lame excuses, really.

I was gutted. I thought we had really hit it off and connected in our messages. We laughed so much and had so much in common, or so I thought anyway. I was so excited to meet him, and he had said the same. But it clearly didn’t mean as much to him, and that really hurt.

I saw this post and it made me feel better, and that I’m not alone. It’s hard. But we’re worth it and should keep moving forward. Thank you for your post!
