If there was not a single moment last night where you went, "oh damn" I don't know what fight you were watching.

and lasted almost to the end and took rounds.

I've watched about a million fights since being a little kid in the 70s golden age, and let me say this: Sorry, but you don't know a thing about boxing if you think McGregor "lasted" or "took" anything in that sham of a fight.

Mayweather CARRIED him to make it a show for an hour or so. There was absolutely no way he was going to let this promotion end early. Why do you think the ref let McGregor commit about 50 fouls without so much as an official warning?

Floyd threw one punch in the first round, and twelve total in the first three rounds. Those rounds were the gifts.

After that, he opened up slowly and showed he could land any punch he wanted with ease. He very very obviously played with McGregor, walking him down like a punk, showing no concern whatsoever about getting hit, and landing any punch he wanted to land, any time he wanted to land it.

McGregor's energy level was irrelevant, really. Floyd could have started picking him apart 30 seconds into the fight.McGregor's boxing technique, timing, and instincts are LAUGHABLY BAD. He was worse than an amateur - he was a novelty act - a joke. A well-paid novelty act and joke, for sure, but still a joke.

If McGregor steps into the ring with a serious professional boxer who is NOT trying to extend the show and fool around, he'll be on the canvas unconscious in the first round.
