“Doubting numbers provided by a major news source.” That is a scary thing to say. There is a reason they properly cited their other sources but neglected to do so on the DHS data. The notion that I shouldn’t doubt the numbers and question their legitimacy is frightening. Let me blindingly believe everything I am told as long as it comes from a CNN, NBC, FOX, or MSNBC, right?

They altered the numbers. It’s not uncommon. If Fox News cited that the DOJ reported that illegal immigrants are more likely to commit violent crimes, would you believe it because it comes from a major news source?
