If a women hits a man, he has every right to hit her back.

I'm just going to put this here even though I doubt anyone will see it: from personal experience I think you're right. I (f) used to run around with the assumption that I was never going to get hit but that it was ok if I thumped a guy (this was more arm punches since hitting someone in the face is soooooo beyond something I'd ever do - male or female). Anyways - one day I was trying to be flirty by repeatedly punching this guy I crushed on in the arm (stupid, I know) and he got fed up and pushed me away, pretty solidly. I thumped pretty good up against the wall and had my "oh shit" moment. "Holy crap!" I thought, "he pushed me! Boys aren't supposed to push girls!" But immediately after realized - I deserved it and it WAS possible that someone might actually hit me back. I never made the assumption that "boys don't hit girls" again, and I feel like I grew from that experience.

TLDR: I (f) repeatedly hit my crush in the arm. He got fed up and pushed me into a wall. Lesson learned: don't hit boys because they might hit back.

PS. I'm sorry I hit you Andrew from Britain. Thank you for the lesson, it was important!
