If your kid taunts a dog to the point it bites them. The dog shouldn't face consequences.

I'm glad other people do this! When my goddaughter was little and she wanted to pet my animals I'd hold her hand and gently pet them while going "soooooft" every time and she picked it up quickly. Of course she would get excited and forget but I'd just remind her! I know someone who lets their child climb all over animals and poke and pull on them and I HATE it. I know you're not supposed to try and control other people's children but whenever I'm around her I stop her and tell her no. She went to my mother's house and was agitating my mom's cat and wouldn't stop and the adult she was with didn't care so my mom loudly told her no and put her in a time out. She hates my mom now, my mom doesn't care.
