iFixit was able to break 2018 MBP keyboards with dust

I will humor you.

Are you suggesting you can accelerate the aging process by subjecting it to more debris and sand than it ever would at one time?

Because in standard accelerated aging, which is already a contested experimentation method, this method makes more sense as whatever is being tested will eventually be submit to heat, cold and humidity cycles. Doing so rapidly, accelerates the process. Same with mechanical testing, which I’m assuming iFixit as a monetary giant will have specialized equipment for this type of test and didn’t just bang on a keyboard after throwing dust on it, would know that rapid typing could show accelerated wear because you can count keystrokes.

Things like “packing in particles” , “pushing in sand” and “aggressive typing” sound like circumstantial events that may never happen over the course of a laptops lifetime.
