IGN Takes Down Article And Tweet Sharing Palestinian Aid Groups

I think you're sanitizing things a bit here. The reason that they're haven't been any elections since 2006 is because when Hamas won them through technicalities (Fatah received nearly as many votes and the majority of votes were for pro-peace process parties), they shot or exiled anyone associated with Fatah from Gaza and would have likely done the same in the West Bank had Fatah not moved against them first. While Fatah are hardly some liberal bastion of democratic ideals, it's pretty clear that you can't have proper elections when one side is as extreme, authoritarian and violent as Hamas. Pretty much all of the armed factions involved in the Palestine conflict are bad, but Hamas manages to be worse than all the others, and I find it bizarre that so many people on the left will come up with excuses for a terrorist organisation that's only a few steps away from bloody ISIS.
