Ignorant couple breaks into a home and harass the Airbnb guest

Ok, I definitely see your point. However, would you rather face a person who has intent to kill or severely injure you who’s wielding a gun, or a knife? Me, I’m hedging my bets that I’ll be more likely to survive a crazy person with a knife than a gun.

Also, comparing homicides (where someone dies) to “knife crimes” (some of them, people could have died, most of them, it results in injury but no death) just simply isn’t honest or fair. Maybe also include how many people are injured due to guns but didn’t die (and even if that number is very low, that would still show that guns would be far more lethal than knives).

Plus, last time I checked, you can get ownership of a gun in the Uk but it’s just extremely difficult and you need good reason, shouldn’t that be standard? Considering what you can do with a gun, surely it should be difficult to obtain one to at least prevent gun crimes.
