IJW: Vertigo (1958)

The misogyny is the point. It's about how men can become weird and obsessive about women. Notice how when he becomes obsessive over the new woman in his life, Madeline, the other woman in his life, Midge, disappears from the film and doesn't come back. He completely discards her once he finds a new girl, despite how they were engaged at one point and still best friends that hung out often. The way he forces Judy to look like Madeline even though it clearly makes her unhappy speaks for itself. It's really a criticism of how men treat and exert their wills over women.

Granted I still think the movie is mostly overrated. It's good. One of the best of all time? Idk. It was ahead of it's time in criticizing misogyny, but that alone doesn't make it one of the best movies ever.
