IKEA: Rejected after 60h takehome test - Do we really need to know all of this?

If you don't have the knowledge and you're not willing to put the effort, then you don't deserve the job.

What a load of horseshit. I'm willing to put in effort. Just not for free. It doesn't sound like that's the case with OP, but I have definitely seen "tests" that would legit take dozens of hours. That's not a test, it's labour.

"I am a talented, hard-working employee" then do the fucking test, ain't that difficult.

This mentality is how people get exploited. "Just spend hours on this test, it ain't difficult! Just spend hours of unpaid overtime to meet a stupid deadline, it ain't difficult! Aren't you a team player?" Don't encourage that.
