IKEA (the world’s largest furniture retailer) has revealed that 70% of the materials used to make its products during 2019 were either renewable or recycled, as it strives to reach the 100% mark by 2030.

Comparing deforestation for furniture and other products with lighting bonfires is just absurd. Also Christmas trees usually come from farms. Yes there are farms dedicated to grow christmas trees.

I am not blaming the EU, but more the companies that got greenlight through the union to come and do as they please and the dipshit politicians that are willing to sell their own mother for a buck.

Of coursw it is a complex issue. But at the heart of it it comes down to greed and corruption and the most suffering are the locals who at worst can't do anything against it and usually are trapped to work for them too cause of their finanvial situation.
