[IL] Would you hire a professional (social worker, psychologist, etc) who has a small face tattoo near their hairline? Why or why not?

I’d like to start this with I’m not trying to argue or be disrespectful. My tone comes off bitchy sometimes. I also don’t have a face tat, but I’ve always wanted one.

Wouldn’t you want a diverse workplace? I’ve had past jobs with DEI training that have included colored hair, piercings and tattoos (obviously not the same as most DEI trainings). A person with a tiny face tattoo that is qualified to do the job should not be turned away because of a star near their hairline.

By saying people are comfortable with their own kind, I’m getting the impression that you condone certain types of segregation. Studies have shown that diversity leads to higher profit.
