  1. College is starting soon and it's very real possibility that you guys probably aren't going to be close or going to the same college
  2. When that happens, you guys are going to have to decide whether you're going to keep it going or break up. Even if you guys decide to keep it going, it's very real that you guys are going to break up anyways. Which is going to hurt a lot
  3. All that being said, I don't think you asking them out should be contingent on your acceptance. If you ask them out now, and they say yes, you'll have more time to be with them. If it's no, then you can see my points above and feel better about yourself.
