I'll lose weight. I'll do it for all the wrong reasons, but I WILL do it

Well, to be honest, I think a lot of us do it for the same reason. I was rejected myself by a lad who I quite liked, though I should add that you should never feel resentful towards them for being "friend zoned", that's an unhealthy mindset, as there's really nothing wrong with not being attracted to someone romantically, but regardless, I lost weight for the same reason you did, though to be honest, 95kg doesn't seem so bad for a 6"2 man, but if you are wanting to lose weight, try not to do it so quickly. You'll find that it's harder to keep it off that way, and sometimes you can fall into an eating disorder, which I have before. Slow, steady and healthy wins the race. Don't eat less than you should, eat the right things. A few measly fruits and veg won't sustain you. Eat plenty of rice, beans, nuts, grains, seeds, potatoes, pasta, wholegrain bread if you like and of course lots of fruits and veg. You won't have to restrict yourself when you're eating the right things, though at your weight and height, you could probably turn into muscle man with just dedicated weightlifting and exercise alone. You don't have to try and be skinny if you don't want to. Trust me, time goes slowly until you realize it's flown right past you. I'm sorry for your heartbreak, but I'm sure you'll meet someone who will love you for you. Good luck friend :)
