Ilya Kovalchuk opens up on 'horrible' healthy scratch, disastrous first season with Kings

That's fair and that's what I wanted hear, I mean management wise I can't help but think it's a 2 way street here, you got one end that continues to throw a NTC on Edmonton and then you got management that only has so much they can deal with on the market so were left with making calls like signing Koskinen to a 3 year deal because the options have dwindled because players would rather sign in vegas, Cali or Florida and that's why my assumption of weather has thought of being a factor. Maybe it's some frustration on my end but it always seems we get guys who don't have the option to sign with teams in nicer climates and it sucks seeing us on every no trade list. Anyways all I'm getting at is that it just irks me to never have to sign a game changing player because we're always on the no trade list.
