I'm (26f) 28 weeks pregnant and just introduced my flatmates (19f, 26f) to my older sister (34f). It was a shit show. Am I being hormonal or is my horror justified?

Nah, not at all. I personally enjoy having police officers banging down my door because they think I've got a newborn around heroin. It's also really lovely having social workers visiting because they think my child's in danger. Have a cuppa, nice little chat, and hey it's just a reminder to keep the place clean innit?

I'm also not really committed to having a home birth, y'know, so it'd be no big deal if my midwives said "Hey, Alphacanically, we've got concerns you have been exposed to drugs while pregnant. We need to run tests and we no longer feel comfortable doing a home birth with you and your baby will be getting extra monitoring to ensure there's no signs of withdrawal or developmental problems. You're also being assigned a case worker for your baby."

I just consider this all extra support! Not terrifying stresses at all!

(I'm 26 weeks pregnant and planning my second home birth, BTW, if someone I lived with pulled this shit on me- I'd go fucking ballistic)
