The producers and directors blame COVID for limited character interactions and appearances, so why wouldn’t you just have a drop of patience, hold off and finish one of the most successful TV shows of all-time the right way when it’s safe??

I think AMC deserves a lot of the blame. If I recall, season eleven was already mapped out and rolling when AMC pulled the plug—a lot of the cast and crew were caught off guard because the season wasn’t designed or planned to be the final one. But it was too late in the production process to overhaul it, and the 11C pod of episodes is what AMC gave them to wrap it up, which is utter nonsense when, you’re right, they could’ve let season eleven be the story that was planned and then give them a full final season to approach from the get-go rather than pulling the rug out on everyone and saying, “And now wrap it up real quick!”
