I'm in a catch 22 situation, and I want to leave.

Broken home, abusive mom's boyfriend story really. The four of us were split into twos growing up. The youngest spending most their early life around abuse, then the more recent with our dad. The sister that grew up with me was just always a drama queen, but the two younger ones certainly make her worse.

The whole family just doesn't work together. Two of my sisters have jobs but they spend none of it on the family, so my single dad works for feed five people and we're just poor. Inconsistent meals, sometimes going without stuff like dish liquid, and having worn clothes.

There's absolutely understandable reasons for all the nasty behavior here. Everyone is depressed and angry, the house is a wreak because no one cares or just doesn't have the will to maintain it, and any attempts to get help from other family members just turns into them underestimating the situation... Plus my poor dad is embarrassed to admit how bad his household is, so ends up doing more bad than good by trying to make it seem less bad than it actually is.
