i'm a chronic optimist, but...

I enjoyed the game from 1-60 and the first few molten cores. Then it became boring, the PvP system that I was stoked turned out to be hot garbage and I realized I'd rather punch myself than have to suffer through 3 hours of molten core every week so I quit.

Ultimately I realized the complaints I had been reading about on here were completely legitimate. That's not to say you shouldn't play Classic, but I really hate this idea that complaining is bad by default and there's some moral high ground to be had by being blindly positive.

I wish I had known about Classic's boring endgame and unbearable PvP system earlier instead of listening to people who went out of their way to be jolly and pretend everything was going to be perfect. It would have changed the way I approached the game and allowed me to get more enjoyment out of it. I would have savored the 1-60 journey and explored more of the atlas instead of trying to speed to 60 with spellcleave dungeons because I had heard the endgame didn't suck
