I'm a complete amateur, help trimming the fat off of my build?

I don't know if you'll be able to drop the price. That GPU is bad for gaming, and that monitor is kinda small for 1080. You should consider 24" for 1080. You should also take into consideration that some of the stores listed in the list charge shipping and/or taxes, which means the final price might be higher than what's displayed.
