I'm confused by your logic

For what we are willing to do to slow it down?

Okay, okay follow along with me here:

  1. You admit we cant eradicate the virus
  2. But you want to "slow it down"

Okay, leaves us with a spectrum of action we can take:

On one end of spectrum you have: "house arrest style lockdown - all kids homeschooled for a year - no going outside of property lines - you need to request permission from the health department leave your house. Yes, of course we are making some sacrifices but we are told that it may slow the spread of the virus so those are worth it

On the other end of the spectrum, all we really need to do is just cancel thankgiving this year and that will "slow it down" enough to go back to normal.

Where is your line of what you are willing to give up?
