I'm developing a game based on bedtime stories my dad used to tell me. Reddit, meet Mr. Green.

Mr. Green was a main character in many of the stories my dad used to make up to help put me to sleep as a child. Originally based on a small plastic finger-puppet, over time Mr. Green evolved a full personality and background as a "Mess Imp".

What is a Mess Imp? It's an imp that makes messes, of course. Specifically, Mr. Green's job in life is to toss kid's toys around thier room, scatter thier game controllers, dump over cookie jars and other such mischeviousness that can be blamed on a household's youngest member, leading to the famous excuse from them: "But I didn't make that mess!!"

In the game Mr. Green: The Mess Machine he will swing around household environments on his stretchy arms, grabbing up toys and other objects and tossing them around, being scored on the mess he makes. He'll also have to avoid capture by the children who know he exists, pets, and other obsticles.

Most all of the work at this time has gone into crafting Mr. Green's swinging capabilities. You can see the current state of this movement system in these gifs:

I am developing this game individually, and due to this progress will likely be slow, and I do not expect that the final product will be any kind of visual masterpiece by todays Next-Gen standards. Rather, I intend to focus on providing fun gameplace reminicant of classical gaming eras. Simple yet compelling.

My intention is to bring this game to Steam Greenlight in Early-to-Mid 2016. I am also concidering crafting obsticle-courses and race maps which could be produced faster and placed on Early Access while the main 'Adventure Mode' stages and gameplay are worked on.

Thanks everyone for taking a minute to look at my first game development project. Any questions or comments are welcome.
