I mean... It's true though. Claudia would receive a lot less hate if one of these two things were true:
The second point isn't related to shipping, just fandom in general. I've seen so many people in other fandoms (usually the loudest portion) bend over backwards, even to the point of villainizing the heroes, to excuse the wrongdoings of their fav male villain even if the narrative doesn't support it, but rarely see it for female villains.
The first point I've seen in every fandom I've ever belonged to, not matter how small the role. It could be a one off guest spot and the character would still be hated years later lol
