How come when people report abusers nothing gets done?

I reported a photo that was being used to trick people into thinking that we were still together so that he could ask people where I was. In the report I wrote that I have a PPO against him which hasn't stopped his violent crimes. I also wrote that he was trying to kill me because he was. Leaving an abusive relationship is the most deadly/dangerous time for victims.

I understand this might be an issue that I don't understand well and I am responsive if you can provide a reasonable explanation.

(I did delete my Facebook a long time ago, the reports were made a year or two ago by multiple people)
