I'm a felon on the run mostly for marijuana cultivation

Sorry for the delay, was busy with my garden and avoidance of human contact and had to make a road trip to unload a bunch of bud and return with clones of two strains I haven't grown before, yay. :)

Anyway, I know all too well how hard it is to be someone else. Early on in my "new life" I had a doctor's appointment, went to the receptionist who asked my name and by pure instinct recited my old one, immediately realized it, freaked out and told her no, that's my "work name" (wtf does that even mean?) and corrected it to my new name. Fortunately she didn't seem to notice anything really weird and just checked in my new name and sent me to have a seat and wait for the doctor with a smile. That was years ago though and like I wrote, I now dream even in my current identity, though recently I dreamed that my father died, as soon as I woke up I searched for his name and location with obituaries and didn't find anything so I guess he's still alive, though we weren't on speaking terms even long before I got busted and he's an asshole. Nobody at all uses my old name anymore, except I guess for internet searches from anyone who is still looking for me but I never used social media pre-bust and was always very private so nothing turns up. Everyone with whom I communicate now only uses my new name, and very few even know of my past. I abandoned all old emails and other online accounts before I became a fugitive, and was such a loner originally that I don't see how the govt. could find out much of anything about my old "friends," almost all of whom are just as clueless as to my current whereabouts as they are. I know this would be virtually impossible for almost anyone else; my lonerness is the main thing making it possible. Don't worry; I'll never, ever let my guard down, like I have a choice in that.

New friends are virtually impossible to come by especially when you're as paranoid as I am.

How did you get busted during a random traffic stop? Did you consent to search, did they bring a drug dog and force you to, or what? A long time ago I was pulled over, asshole cop kept me on the side of the road for hours repeatedly asking if he could search, I kept refusing, would have anyway because I never consent to any searches without warrant but especially because I had drugs in the trunk, I think he was trying to get a drug dog to come and get him fake authorization (they signal the dogs to indicate so they can get a search warrant very often, most aren't very well-trained, barely have to exceed 50/50 in tests to get qualified, one of my own dogs could do it much more reliably and knows no fake signals, in case you didn't know) but couldn't and finally angrily sent me on my way without even a ticket.
