They are doing it for fashion. For social status. It makes them seem like they are worldly. That they know something about a foreign culture. But honestly if you talk to them for 5 minutes you'll see that they don't know much at all about the philosophy and the thought process about these things. The how and the why so to speak.

They just do yoga like a Muslim memorizes the Quran. To use an analogy you understand lol. No tafsir. No Hadith. No Sira. Just memorize the Quran and no translation too. Just the surahs in Arabic. Perfect pronunciation too. To be honest I looked up yoga on YouTube and saw videos from a woman in Texas. The form was perfect.

If they bothered with the philosophy then then would be like us here in this sub. Realizing the shortcomings of Dharmic ideology and the scientific evidence that disproves certain things. But because they are only interested in the superficial lifestyle of it, it's just funny. Kind of like an Indian woman wearing full niqab in South India because she wants to be like Arab women. And says Muslim because she heard azan from a mosque and thought it sounds lovely. Never read Quran or prays 5 times a day. So a Munafiq Niqabi lol
