I definitely feel you on the colorism. I’m so sorry you’ve had such bad experiences to make you feel that way. No matter how many bad experiences I have with black men, I could not and will not ever stop dating them. Black men just feel like home because I am too a Black woman. I attract so many different races of men. After Black men, it’s Asian and Indian. Personally, interracial dating is just not for me.

You know it’s crazy, I made a post on here but deleted it about how white men pursuing me scares me. I just feel like it’s always taken as a joke when I expressed that. It’s always been fetishized and/or perverted. I am so used to white people being racist that it always feels like a set up when it happens.

There are so many black men out there though that are not racist and colorist. I promise. That doesn’t mean they’re all great or even your type either but they’re out there. I hope this helped.
