I'm going to ask Visa to lower my interest rate on my Platinum card, any tips?

We have 2 rewards cards we use, one for my husband's business stuff and one for pretty much everything else (just paying it off). When we opened the everything rewards card the credit union suggested requesting it be lowered because if we needed to transfer the balance off one of the rewards cards (say we had something we couldn't pay off that month), the lower the Platinum card interest rate the better position we would be in should that occur. I don't plan that to happen, but we have 3 kids and 5 dogs so I don't count out anything.

I suppose I could ask them to increase the limit as well, couldn't hurt, right? It wouldn't be weird to ask for those in the same call, would it? Most of my dealings with the cards has been in person at the credit union.

Thank you for clarifying who I would call though, I wasn't exactly sure about that since I was at the credit union when they told me to call.
