I'm going crazy because I can't produce well (rant)

Accept that it will take a long time to learn all the things you need to know in order to do things right. You're basically trying to do the jobs of a whole lot of different people when trying to make a complete song start to finish. Best to get started.

You can either continue to try and get away with not knowing what you're doing and just using presets and similar things for everything (which will mainly lead to you being just as unsure about how things work in 5 years) or you can start now to put the time in to learn about how the things you need to use work. Pick a thing and learn it. Stick to presets and uncertainty for everything else, but figure that one thing out. Once you feel like you have a good idea of how it works, switch to the next thing. A whole lot of things in music production are connected in some way so you'll find that once you have some knowledge about for example how to design a sound on a synthesizer, you'll understand more about how to mix vocals as well. But you still have to put in time and effort to build up experience with it.
