I'm also 'addicted' to crisps, but unless you're really cutting out carbs I wouldn't say you have to give them up, unless you struggle to eat one at a time. I've been eating Walkers baked (109Kcal) and Yushoi baked pea snacks (88Kcal) for the past few months and they still leave me satisfied.
Before my diet I was eating about 8 packs of high fat/high salt crisps a day, (Doritos, hula hoops, Walkers, Monster Munch) which came out to 1000+ calories, and right now I'm eating 3 a day of baked crisps which comes out to roughly 300 calories depending on which ones I'll have.
I do eventually plan on cutting down to 1 a day, but I don't think I'll give them up completely.
