Probably an isolated case but I received my Oasis today (first time Kindle) and was really disappointed to find the text on the screen what I’d describe as slightly crooked. I noticed initially on the setup, but thought nothing of it, came back to it an hour later to read a few pages of a new book and all I could think was how crooked the text looked.

In reality I think it was just slightly crooked but once I saw it it’s all I could think of! Amazon accepted the return and I’ve gone for the less expensive paperwhite model instead as I hear the battery lasts longer.

Probably a very isolated case as I hear really good things about the Oasis (why I bought it in the first place).
