I'm having a really hard time finding laid-back PvP games

Rakion and Gunz were incredible in their golden days. Too bad PtP lead will never make it that big again.

Fallout 76 looks promising too. Though it does look like grouping is a necessity and the group will be pigeon holed on their card selections in a lot of cases.

Guns of Icarus, it can have some of that MoBA pressure, but mostly frustration and not toxicity. Ask questions, use your mic, it is some of the most satisfying team work I have experienced in gaming. The game attracts a lot of cool cats. Best thing to do is play the tutorial and as soon as you get into a match explore the ship to find where everything is. You have a good minute or two before the fights start happening usually.
