I'm making rules for a "casual edh" league. Need to balance the experience for new players, experienced players, and cost. Any advice?

The idea is: you can have the infinite in your deck... you just can't put the pieces together. Kiki? Fine. Zealous Conscripts? Also fine. Both at the same time? Nope. Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood are both find individually... just to get one into play while the other is also in play. You should know better, YOU built the deck!

This is completely idiotic. Just to start off, do you as the league organizer seriously want to sit there every second game and decide whether someone oopsed into an infinite combo or deliberately played it!? What if copying someone else’s Dockside or whatever enables the infinite!?

Here’s a sane approach: You play out the infinite, game ends, points are awarded normally, anyone who wants to be a manbaby about it and complains gets a penalty awarded.
