IM NOT CRAZY

And where does it ever hinder him?

His marriage falls to the wayside because he's a difficult person to live with. His relationship with his parents was never as good as Jimmy's despite being the more disciplined son, his mom literally died calling for Jimmy while he stayed by her bedside. His fight with Jimmy tanked HHM's reputation so hard that Howard had to force him to retire and strain the only friendship he really had left. He's so hung up on being right that his ego stops him from having good people skills, shown when the Mesa Verde blunder first came up and he told MV they were wrong about their own address. Those are all just the top of my head.

Where is he punished? He didn't get Mesa Verde because of again Jimmy being "evil" and the brother that was born 100 percent evil and never had any single good thought in his life.

Literally see above. Marriage down the drain, slowly alienates himself from Howard, career left in shambles and his mental illness, fueled in big part by his inferiority complex to his brother, gets so bad he commits suicide. He's punished plenty.

Lol you said it yourself, the narrative portrays Chuck as perfect and right in everything.

The narrative also paints him as severely vindictive and petty, not just in big confrontations but in small every day conversation.

What flaws does Chuck have that aren't caused by other people?

Literally see above. Every single one was an issue he started and refused to fix.
