I think I'm the only person on the planet who actually enjoys this track

I'll try and explain this better for people who don't quite understand the appeal, just in case you don't feel like digging through lines and lines of the argumentative ranty crap me and the other guy left below. The closest thing I can compare it to is Death Metal, a lot of people think that sounds horrible too, but the whole point of it isn't to sound good in a conventional sense, it's the absolutely raw energy put into the music that makes it attractive to me. A lot of noise music is pretty much just jamming with equipment with no planning whatsoever beforehand, it's incredibly easy music to make (straight up noise that is). Merzbow, who's essentially recognized as the figurehead for harsh noise, LITERALLY puts out up to 20 albums worth of material every year. His discography, which dates back to either the 70's or 80's I'm pretty sure, is so vast he probably couldn't even remember half the shit be put out himself. There are a load of pretty unknown 'Japanoise' artists who's music pretty much consists of them screaming into a microphone with insane amounts of distortion overlalpped, which again just about anybody could do if they tried. I'll TRY, emphasis on that word, to use a 'normal' Aphex Twin track as an example of what I mean by energy. The track '54 Cymru Beats' from Drukqs is pretty fast paced and harsh sounding from the get up, but around the 4:37 mark it goes absolutely insane with a bunch of loud crashing noises thrown into the mix that provably blew your eardrums in half the first time you heard it. To me it feels like the ultimate climax to a track, reaching the point where it descends into complete chaos and feels like it breaks through time and space or some shit. The 'BoxEnergy4Remix1' track is a pretty good example too, with a huge wave of noise sweeping in around the same time mark as Cynru Beats. I don't expect everybody to understand what I mean, and that's fine, noise music really is one of those 'hate it or love it' things and to understand it properly you just need to listen to it yourself and form your own opinions.
