I'm proud of my son for finishing the requirements and becoming an Eagle Scout.

If you join the military you are automatically accepted into Officer's Candidacy (which you usually need a college degree for I think)

Besides that, if the guy you are interview for is an old white man or anybody else who recognizes how special this achievement is for such a young kid, the job is pretty much yours.

Besides that, I will just copy what other people have said "The skills you learn"

I never did scouts of any kind, but two of my good friends became Eagle Scouts, and neither of them ever need a favor from anybody. They are confident and self-sufficient, exactly as Eagle Scouts are advertised. Both are doing well in their lives, and other than having great parents who cared and did their best, they have nobody else to thank but themselves.
