I thought they deserve some praise for how far they have come.
We all given them alot of shit on reddit about ohms and crew and how they ghostcapped etc.etc. Probably me being the worst offender of them all on the MCOR hate wagon since Ohms and me have went back and forth with our stupid banter since my 382nd days and me dealing with his bullshit before in my newbie SRCT days when that was still a thing.
Anyway, These two players. SqueakyDolphin & Weaponsdrawn are seriously something else. Both of these boys as you know were drinking the Ohms koolaid especially Squeaky who reddited about Ohms a few times on his threads. Of course we all gave him shit for loving the koolaid of ohms since he said we killed a good thing and that his chances for a tactical gaming outfit days were over. After he made that post; I felt sorry as shit so I opened up a home for all the MCOR guys if they decided to join J0KE.
Next thing I know; Dolphin shows up in my TS3 and we chat about getting them in the outfit. Next thing I know, we take them through the J0KE workshop and have them run ops with us where they not only adapted and fit well with our comps but excelled in them. I would of never thought these guys from MCOR would pick up on the culture of the get gud meta so fast and improve so fast when both of them never got the chance to improve because Ohms kept them complacent and feeling ELITE in MCOR.
It's been a blast watching these two players grow not only statically as players but mentally as well. When weapons and squeaky started; both were struggling to maintain a 1.0 kdr and any ivi above 400 on average. Now; squeaky and weapons are both easily punching over 600 IVI's and have increased their k/ds at a fast rate weekly. Weapons doubling from 1.00 on average to 2.00 and squeaky from .5 kdr to 1.5 and sometimes breaking past 2.00 on a good day.
I've only had these boys for 3 weeks and it's amazing to see them grow so fast so quickly. There rate of improvement and desire to become better players on the infantry aspect of planetside is heartwarming to see and I can only see the both of them continue to get better. If you guys (emerald players) see the both of them in-game kill you or vice versa. Tell em their doing a damn good job at improving and some tips here and there if you see them do a certain something they shouldn't be doing. They will take your tips with grace and follow them seriously.
J0KE staff and myself have been serious in their development as players since they go to our skirms, vr training to dunk heads for a bit before logging on live, and practicing in our 1v1 heatbox.
