I think I'm psychic and I'm not sure what it means.

I had this trait as a missionary and people thought I had 'the spirit.' They made me an AP based on things like this. But when I was x-ed, my psychic traits continued unabated.

So, your perceived psychic abilities were not affected by the administrative action of an organization claiming to be led by the one true god. Do you take this as evidence that the LDS church is a fraud?

Just today my wife and I took the day off to go skiing. On the way she was driving and I was thinking about the time some metallic debris hit my windshield and cracked it out of nowhere on the highway. Just a loud noise and a broken windshield.

You may want to think about where that metal debris came from. It didn't come out of nowhere.

Just as I was thinking this a huge ice crystal popped off a truck in front of us (there was no snow anywhere) and hit our windshield very hard and nearly cracked it.

Define "huge", "ice crystal", "popped", and "truck". And rethink your statement "there was no snow anywhere"; you were going skiing, right? And how do you know that the impact nearly cracked your windshield?

After we skied all day I was driving back off the mountain. It's a nice scenic drive in Washington through a forrest. I told my wife, "I'm slowing down because this is the time of day elk move around looking for water. I don't want to run into one."

Yes, there are animals in the forest. That's why they put those warning signs up.

Now, we have NEVER had a deer or elk or anything cross our car on the road.

I don't believe you. You have never had ANYTHING enter the roadway in front of you?

Within 30 seconds of me saying this, a large buck elk crossed the road right in front of my car. Because I was already on the alert and running slow, I easily missed it.

Male elk are called bulls, not bucks. I'm glad you didn't have a wreck.

The problem is, this happens to me all the time.

Wait, not getting into a wreck is a problem? Precognition is a problem for you?

And synchronicity also. My wife thinks I live in a slightly different time frame where I know things in advance. I also know what people are thinking.

I seriously doubt you know what people are thinking. You may guess what some people are thinking some of the time with reasonable accuracy based on non-verbal cues and familiarity with the person, but that isn't unusual.

Now, I don't believe in god or gods. I have no religion. No beliefs.

Let me stop you right there. You just said that you can read minds. I'd call that a belief.

I don't know how I feel about death or an afterlife or reincarnation. But I do doubt that the scientific materialism accounts for this life. I do believe that there is a paranormal and super normal reality because I live it.

You just said that you had no beliefs! But now you believe in a paranormal universe?

But I don't know what it means. I think it means that consciousness may be eternal and uncreated. It may be that we are connected or that we are living outside of our physical bodies even now.

Assuming you don't have medical problems, it could just mean that your brain is finding patterns and cause-effect relationships where none exist. And that is pretty normal. I've heard of this one group of people who think that God wants them to dress up as bakers if they feel good after they pray about a book...

I post this so we can discuss this. I hope this post doesn't disappear like most new posts do. I would like to talk about this. I have no answers. I only have questions.
