I'm relatively new to this stock, can someone tell me what was going around the high of $42?

The difference is that now there appears to be significantly less people saying VG is just a meme stock, actually, I have not seen it posted in a few months now. The hype is right around where it was at prior to the pandemic, but they have a lot more information out in there future plans other than just sub-orbital flights for millionaires.

VG has also opened up on there multiple avenues for future adventures which is making it more attractive to investors.

  1. Sub-orbital flights

  2. Point to point travel (replacing commercial airlines)

  3. Space hotels - This to me is the biggest attraction of the stock in the longterm. Imagine if they actually put hotels orbiting in space, that would be insane. Other than being the new hot vacation spot for millionaires (in the short term) they could also serve a purpose for scientific and other studies. Lastly, they could be a safe haven for the chosen ones if the earth ever was in serious threat from an asteroid.

  4. Virgin Hyperloop is not part of VG but will no doubt have ties to it and have at least some impact on VG, and vice-versa. Hyper loop could also be used to transfer people to space hotels. No flights and no risk of explosion going to space. Yes that would be one long ass tube going from the ground to the space hotel, but it is possible and the has been talked about for decades (for other uses).

  5. Mach 3 / Concorde aircraft replacement. Another huge potential for VG that sounds like it is far into development (engine near completion?). If proven successful it could replace or change entire airline industry. Smaller planes, less people aboard, 1/3 the time to arrive to your destination. The challenges would be there would need to be a lot more planes sky to move everyone around, along with solving the sonic boom problem that plagued the original Concorde.
